The Construction of UV light:

UV light is an electromagnetic radiation with a wavelength from 100nm to 400nm, shorter than that of visible light but longer than X-rays. It is an important part of the sun light.

Why are UV rays harmful?
Skin Damage—Research shows that as many as 90% of skin cancers are due to UV radiation. There is very strong evidence that each of the three main types of skin cancer is caused by sun exposure.

Eye Damage—Prolong exposure to UV or high intensities of UV damages the tissues of eyes and can cause a “burning” of the eye surface, called “snow blindness” or photokeratitis. The effects usually disappear within a couple of days, but may lead to further complications later in life. UV damage to the eyes is cumulative, so it is never too late to start protection the eyes.

An easy test to see the difference with and without UV400 films
(1)Use UV light to flash on counterfeit detection area, you’ll see UV fluorescence
(2)When there’s UV 400 film in between, UV light is absorbed by our UV400 window film and you will not see UV fluorescence.
